Our Leadership Jesus Christ is the head and leader of our church. Following his example, the Elders of our church do not rule over the people, but seek to provide spiritual guidance, prayerful support and equip them for ministry The Session of our church is our governing body and is made up of our Elders (both ruling and teaching). The Session is empowered by Christ to look after the spiritual welfare of the church. The Diaconate (Deacons) provides support to the Session by overseeing the physical needs of the church. This primarily is in the area of mercy, but also concerns other things, such as the finances and care of our buildings and grounds. The Diaconate serves as the leadership for our “Stewardship” Ministry Area.
